Sam Sodano + Jazz + the Clay Cole Show

Sam Sodano

I began Ballroom dancing when...
"I was a teen and I wanted to be a broadway dancer. I went to New York to take a jazz class and right away knew it wasn’t for me. Then I tried the Arthur Murray studio in my hometown. I was 17 years old and enrolled in the bronze program. While in high school I was voted “Best Dancer” and was also on TV, on the Clay Cole show, which was like American Bandstand. All of those things together helped me know that I wanted a career in ballroom dance.'"
